Connect. monitor. predict.

Live GPS, route history, geofencing, vehicle status.

CAN/OBD, DTCs, fuel consumption, engine parameters.

aftermarket accessories, PMV, flashing lights, sirens, I/O, and controls.

synca is the intelligent core that transforms raw field data into operational value.

The platform collects real-time data from vehicles—including GPS/GNSS tracking, CAN/OBD engine parameters, sensor data, and video streams—which is processed on board using edge devices and transmitted over secure channels.

Thanks to an advanced rules engine, automatic data normalization, and a scalable asset management model, synca centralizes the entire infrastructure within a single ecosystem, powering intuitive dashboards, instant alerts, remote controls, and seamless API integrations with any third-party system.

From data analysis to immediate action with synca, every piece of information generated by the vehicle becomes an immediate decision-making tool.

The operational dashboard breaks down complex workflows into clear, customizable views, combining live location tracking, analytics, alarm management, and video streaming on a single screen.

Behind the interface, an advanced telemetry and diagnostics system constantly communicates with the onboard electronics (CAN bus, OBD, sensors, and aftermarket accessories) to monitor the health and efficiency of each asset.

The continuous collection of telemetry data, combined with automated rules and historical data analysis, makes it possible to diagnose critical issues remotely, take prompt action by sending direct commands to the vehicle, and ensure maximum operational continuity for the fleet.

Through Synca, the data is routed to specific views custom-designed for each situation to ensure an accurate diagnostic system that is fully compatible with CAN and OBD.

The Synca system is compatible with a wide range of devices, with the goal of ensuring full interoperability across different platforms and languages. The Edge Computing architecture also allows information to be processed at various endpoints, enabling in-depth monitoring and advanced remote configurations.

The platform centralizes monitoring and diagnostics for various categories of hardware in a single view:

  • Continuous monitoring of the board model, firmware version, WAN/LAN interface status, signal quality, time of last contact, and network tunnel status.
  • Real-time acquisition of GNSS position, power status, inputs/outputs (I/O), CAN bus data, configuration parameters, and communication diagnostics.
  • Monitoring of active processes and services, data parsing, checking local connectivity, periodic health checks, and reviewing system logs.
  • Monitoring the status of encoders and cameras, managing available streams and storage, receiving video events, and performing comprehensive diagnostics on the system.

Thanks to synca, special configurations and in-vehicle accessories are integrated into a fully traceable, bidirectional operational workflow:

  • Real-time accessory monitoring: continuous acquisition of the status (ON/OFF, parameter values, warnings, and faults) of flashing lights, light bars, sirens, PMV panels, sensors, actuators, and digital input/output lines.
  • Operational logic and rule engines: automatic processing of statuses to trigger predefined scenarios, raise the priority of a vehicle on the dashboard during emergencies, or promptly notify users of technical anomalies in the equipment.
  • Certified Command & Control: Sending remote commands and parameter settings to the vehicle with real-time execution confirmation, send and receive timestamps, a complete status history, an audit trail of user actions, and spatiotemporal correlation with GPS telemetry.

The Synca ecosystem combines edge computer vision with advanced vehicle telemetry in an integrated four-tier workflow:

  • Multi-camera management via encoders with local storage for event buffering, edge computing, and continuous monitoring of stream health and connectivity.
  • Smooth real-time visualization and playback directly in the Synca dashboard via adaptive protocols, with granular access control and latency and bitrate diagnostics.
  • Low-latency local processing using native functions, ACAP applications for the automatic detection of vulnerable users, parked vehicles, road obstacles, and collision scenarios.
  • Edge AI events with GPS tracking and CAN/OBD diagnostics for impact detection, instantly generating alarm notifications, photo snapshots, automatic extraction of pre- and post-impact clips, and comprehensive timeline reports.

synca offers a variety of predictive maintenance features through the display of health scores and status alerts.

Through continuous analysis of telemetry data and vehicle vital signs (such as temperatures, fluid levels, component wear, and diagnostic error codes), the platform calculates a dynamic health index for each individual vehicle.

The system allows users to configure custom alert thresholds and automated rules that instantly notify operators when anomalies occur. This proactive approach transforms maintenance from reactive to predictive, drastically reducing unplanned downtime, extending the life cycle of assets, and optimizing fleet operating costs.

The synca platform is designed to integrate seamlessly into existing business processes, building on a scalable, secure, and IoT-oriented cloud architecture.

Thanks to a comprehensive set of REST APIs and the use of standard protocols such as MQTT, the system ensures full interoperability, allowing telemetry data, reports, and alerts to be exported and synchronized bidirectionally with leading third-party management software.

The infrastructure is designed to be “future-proof”: it supports continuous updates for in-vehicle edge devices.
